My Writing Is Human

Every word of the Descended series — the characters, the story, and the prose — was written.

I do not use AI to generate, rewrite, edit, or contribute to my fiction. That is a personal and creative line for me, and I have no plans to change it.

Paranormal romance is an emotional genre. Readers bring their own lives, longings, grief, hope, and imagination to these stories, and I believe that exchange deserves a human writer on the other side of the page. The Descended series exists because of that belief.

Cover Art and Visual Assets

All cover art and author photography associated with the Descended series was created by human artists and photographers. I do not use AI-generated imagery on my covers, or on this website.

Editing and Proofreading

The Descended series was edited by human editors through Three Bees Press. I do not use AI tools for developmental editing, substantive editing, line editing, copyediting, or proofreading on my manuscripts.

Why This Matters to Me

I know readers care about this, and I understand why. Creative work is built on trust, and I would rather be clear about where I stand than leave people guessing.
